Professional Certification Program

At Kitchen Tune-Up, our owners and their employees are very proud to provide the best customer service and the finest quality work for our customers.  In light of this and born out of requests from owners who have been part of KTU for many years, a professional education and development certification program has been developed.  Opportunities to learn and help others grow, for both longtime owners and those newer to our system, exist on an ongoing basis.  We are the only national company to offer this assurance to customers.  When working with a certified KTU owner, you know you're in the best hands!

CHIP – Certified Home Improvement Professional is a designation that can be earned by individual owners at basic and master levels.  Points toward certification can be earned for successfully completing specialized training, serving on task forces or the system’s Advisory Council, conducting training webinars for other owners as well as upholding the company’s eight Trust Points, winning customer service or other national awards and years of experience as a Kitchen Tune-Up owner.

Once certified, the business can use the CHIP logo in their advertising and on their website and they receive a distinctive pin to be worn during client consultations or at community and industry events. At the master certification level the owner also receives a badge with the master level logo and their name inscribed on it. Owners have three years from the time they register in the program to complete the certification process. To retain certification, owners must earn new points annually, assuring their continued education and growth in the field.CHIP Award Winners, LtoR, Glenn Keller, Bruce Morgan, Lori Morgan, Ron Reichert, Marty Ceranec, President Dave Haglund, Mike Dugan, Mary Tokarski, Bob DiToto, Dan Tokarski, Stu Reid
