Kitchen Tune-Up Castle Rock Wins National Project of the Year Award

Kitchen Tune-Up Castle Rock is locally owned by Joel and Jessica Winters. We've completed over 1,000 kitchen projects since 2018, serving Castle Rock, Parker, Castle Pines, Elizabeth, Sedalia, Larkspur, and surrounding communities.

Earlier this year, Jessica and I traveled to Las Vegas for Kitchen Tune-Up's International Convention — and came home with hardware. Our Castle Rock location won the 2026 Project of the Year Award for a cabinet redooring project we completed in 2025.

The award is selected from across the entire Kitchen Tune-Up franchise system — roughly 200 locations in 45 states. It recognizes the single best remodeling project of the year based on craftsmanship, creativity, and customer satisfaction. Out of every project completed by every franchise in the country, ours was the one they put on stage.

The Project

The winning project was a cabinet redooring transformation — new doors, new drawer fronts, and new hardware on existing cabinet boxes. The homeowner wanted a completely different look without the cost and disruption of a full tear-out, and redooring delivered exactly that.

The before-and-after speaks for itself. The original kitchen had dated wood cabinets that made the space feel dark and closed in. The finished kitchen features navy shaker doors on the perimeter, a natural wood island, modern hardware, and an updated hood surround — the whole room feels like a different house.

This is the kind of project we do every week in Castle Rock, Parker, and Castle Pines. Not every one wins a national award, but the same crew, the same process, and the same attention to detail goes into every kitchen we touch.
