Our Showroom is Now Open!
At Kitchen Tune-Up Akron Canton, OH, we are excited to announce we have officially opened the doors to our brand new showroom! If you’ve ever been interested in checking out all of our design options in person, this is the perfect opportunity! We sat down with co-owner Heather Lash to get the inside scoop on what makes this new space so special and why you should visit!
What are you most excited about regarding the opening of this new showroom?
"I'm most excited about the ability to meet with our custom kitchen project clients in the showroom to review selection choices and designs, as well as to see the actual cabinets in person! It's going to make the design process so much more tangible."
What was the primary motivation behind opening this new showroom?
"The biggest reason for opening the showroom was to offer a better customer experience, plus our warehouse was simply outgrowing our former location. This new space allows us to serve our clients even better."
What options will be showcased here?
"We have two full custom kitchens on display in the showroom, along with a beverage center, a mudroom, and an entertainment center. We'll be featuring several of our door styles, colors, hardware, quartz, and backsplash samples as well! It's a fantastic way to see the quality and variety of our offerings."
Do you have any specific technologies or tools integrated into the showroom to aid in the design and selection process?
"Absolutely! We have a dedicated area in the showroom called our selection center. Here, we meet with clients, and I can display 3D renderings of their custom kitchen designs on a large TV. Clients can visualize their dream kitchens and even make live changes to the design right there and then – whether it's the layout, color, or door style."
What kind of community involvement or partnerships do you envision for this new location?
"One of the most exciting things we're looking forward to is partnering with several local chefs to host small cooking classes in our full kitchen! The classes will be intimate, accommodating about 12 people at a time, and we already have three chefs officially signed up. What challenges or opportunities do you anticipate in operating this new showroom?
"The biggest challenge is honestly just staffing the showroom and receiving our new cabinets, as it's a bit difficult for the semi-trucks to get behind our unit. LOL!"
What kind of training have your staff received to ensure a seamless customer experience in the new showroom?
"Our sales team is meeting in the space twice each week to do vendor training as well as sales coaching. This helps us improve all of our skills to be top-notch for our clients and provide the best possible experience."
Why should potential customers come visit your showroom?
"Come and see all of the possibilities that could be in your kitchen space. It also allows you to touch and feel the cabinets and doors that will be in your new space! Finally, be sure to stop in on Winston Wednesdays to meet our showroom mascot! He loves getting cuddles and showing off his hidden dish in the showroom!
