About Kitchen Tune-Up Irvine Dana Point

My husband, Nils, and I live in the beautiful coastal community of Dana Point, with our office and warehouse located in Irvine. Nils is originally from the Netherlands but moved to Laguna Niguel with his parents and siblings when he was in grade school. A graduate of Dana Hills High School and San Diego State University, he proudly raised his two sons, Jax and Boden, in the area. Nils is the President and CEO of VDA Consulting & DRS Systems and supports Kim in realizing her dream of helping others transform their homes, as she has done with theirs.

I am from Canada and have lived in Southern California since 2000, moving to Dana Point in 2020. Before starting Kitchen Tune-Up, I worked in HR leadership and executive roles at various companies, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50. I have an extensive business background and a strong passion for home renovation, particularly kitchens!

When we’re not working, you might find us exploring one of the many restaurants in our neighborhood or strolling along the harbor. We love to travel and consider ourselves self-proclaimed ‘foodies. ' We cherish this area, the community, and the opportunity to serve our friends and neighbors.

Katie Gwynne, a native of Laguna Niguel, currently resides in Dana Point. With over 25 years of sales experience, she takes pride in leading with honesty, integrity, and enthusiasm. For the past 8 years, she has showcased her skills in the construction and design industry. She can’t wait to help you create the kitchen of your dreams!

Anthony ‘Tony’ Moreno is our Project Manager and Lead Installer. He started his career as an apprentice in 2014 and has worked as a finish carpenter since 2016. He brings extensive knowledge, experience, and skills to his role. Our customers rave about him, his work ethic, and how pleasant it is to work with him.
